The Darwin D. Martin House is located in Buffalo, NY and was built in 1904. It is a National Historic Landmark. The house is one of larger Prairie-houses and is now under restoration.
The windows were built from the same materials as the Dana House, i.e. brass plated colonial zinc came and iridized glass. The most recognizable window is the “Tree of Life” window from the second floor of the house. The first floor windows are less exciting but just as elegant. Some of the first floor windows have been compared to wisteria. The windows are considered great works of art.
